It’s a new week and here’s the latest on Downtown Boone’s Howard Street Project. Starting today (Monday), crews plan to continue working on the power centers and hopefully install some streetlight poles. This while Burrell Street is the last area needing to be paved. The plan calls to mill the street today and pave it on Tuesday. Expect some traffic interruptions in the process. Lane Moody, Downtown Development Director will provide High Country News with any changes.
