What a view! The skyway at Howards Knob Peak will remain open later than originally scheduled. Instead of already being closed, Howards Knob County Park in Boone extended its season until Sunday, November 1st. For those unfamiliar, Howards Knob provides a horseshoe shaped skybridge sitting nearly 4400 feet above sea level, which provides outstanding views of Appalachian State, Grandfather Mountain, and Downtown Boone. It’s become a top choice for fall leaf viewing in the High Country.
