Wednesday marked day one of two current early release dates for students of the Watauga County School District. Thursday, October 29th marks day two. This is in regard to teacher – parent conference’s. K through 8th grade students will dismiss at 12 p.m. – while it’s 1 p.m. for 9th through 12th graders at Watauga High School.
