A memorable season came to a conclusion for the Watauga High School Girls Volleyball Team on Tuesday, after coming up just short of an appearance in the State Championship. In the final four of remaining 6A playoff teams statewide, Watauga lost in a hard fought contest at North Iredell, 3-2, in the 6A Western Title Game. Congratulations to Head Coach, Kim Pryor and her team for finishing unbeaten in the conference at 11-0 and an overall record of 25-4.
