Blowing Rock Council approved a new childcare lease that improves a desperate need for parents in the area. Blowing Rock Academy will now be Kid Cove at Blowing Rock. The plan means Kid Cove will not only provide reserved and discounted childcare spaces for employees of the Town of Blowing Rock but also expand the operation with at least 21 more childcare spaces.
